Applying Business Rules
Latitude will configure Business Rules on behalf of the Merchant partners.
These rules will define how the Merchant partners would like to offer Interest Free to their Customers. Possible rules are:
Rule description | Examples |
If giftcards are allowed to be purchased under Interest Free terms | Do not apply Interest Free promotion to the cart of a giftcard has been purchased |
Apply promotion codes according to minimum or maximum cart amounts | The promotion code 2012 is only valid if the total cart amount is between $200 and $20000 |
Dates for which to apply a particular promotion code | The promotion code 2012 is only valid from 2020/01/31 00:00 – 2020/02/31 23:59 |
Exclusion of products from Interest Free. Product exclusion rules can be built if a product description or product SKU contains or starts or ends with a matching ‘string text’ | All items matching string “laptop” should be excluded from Interest Free promotions All items starting with string “laptop*” should be excluded from Interest Free promotions |
Combination of the above rules | All items starting with string “laptop*” should be included for Interest Free (code 2012) if the cart amount is between $200 and $20000 |
